If you never fancied the Eos as a replacement for the good ol' traditional Golf Cabriolet, then you'll be happy to know that the Geneva Motor Show will host the world premiere of an all-new soft top Golf model. The last time Volkswagen offered a convertible variant of the Golf range was almost a decade ago with the facelifted Mk3 version that was marketed alongside the Mk4 Golf. The new Golf Cabriolet will come with seating for four and feature an electrically-powered soft top. Unlike its predecessors, the Mk6-based model ditches the center rollover bar for a cleaner look. Other than that, it's business as usual with the European model to be offered with a similar engine lineup to the hatchback ranging from an entry-level 105HP 1.2-liter TSI to the GTI's 210HP-strong 2.0-liter TSI.
